Dear Colleague! Download this free Spanish One PowerPoint to start using 90% target language with 100% Comprehensible Input starting on day one!
Watch this video on how to use this slide show your first day.
It is just one of my many daily tech guides that keep my students engaged, on task, and in the target language with detailed visual and musical support. These daily tech guides with transition videos are the best classroom management tools available to language teachers. This is my 30th year in the classroom and truly is my most creative teaching ever!
They are created in PowerPoint and can easily be imported into Active Inspire software for the Promethean Board as objects or the Notebook software for the Smart Board or other interactive board software.
For more info on the process, you can read my book, World Language Daily Tech Guide, available on TeacherspayTeachers, and/or go to more free Videos of my Lessons using Transitional Videos
In my book, the I show teachers how to increase target language usage in the classroom and improve classroom management.
If you are interested in more lessons, you can purchase them individually or in bundles. Videos of my lessons are available here:
Minute by Minute’s main page with listings on the right.
Please contact me with corrections and comments at mrsshrager@comcast.net. I hope you enjoy this as your students realize from day one how much Spanish they can understand and use and are inspired to embrace your class. Teach more than one language? Transition videos are also available in ESL, French, German, Italian, Latin and Mandarin.
Thanks for being that kind of teacher who works extra to improve his or her teaching craft. Our world needs you now more than ever.

While most of my Spanish videos are for transitions, some are for connecting to students with topics of high interest. We always are balancing staying in the target language and engaging them with high-interest topics beyond the typical curriculum’s requirements.
I’ve noticed that music creates a super-path to long term memory and I hope the students remember the process of analyzing.
♥ ♥ ♥ This video is barely 44 seconds long and is intended to give the students the prompts to a higher level of thinking so that soon it becomes part of their writing process. The question video is 50 seconds long.
