How can you create a Mandarin environment for a class that uses distance learning to teach Mandarin?
Two suggestions:
- 1. Decorate the room with survival phrases posters.
- 2. Greet the students with Transition Videos. There is one for each day of the week and are the perfect start of class. There is one for taking attendance that you can play as you take attendance. There are an assortment that you can also use when there are technical difficulties to keep the students listening to and reading Mandarin. The class proctor can probably learn some key phrases by listening to the videos!
